The Fine Art of Faux-Finishing

Artist /muralist Jack Alexander spent four years painting the fabulous murals, ceilings and faux-finishes in Las Vegas. Among his masterpieces are the faux affects at the Paris Hotel-Casino, Mirage, Caesar's Palace and the venetian Palazzo Resort Hotel-Casino, just to name a few. Here, Jack disses on the nature of the fine art scene in the world today and offers insights into faux-finishing as an art form.
